1. WHO WE ARE

Earnt is an iOS application developed by Dhekstro, an independent software studio. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@dhekstro.com.

2. WHAT DATA EARNT HANDLES

Earnt handles the following types of data that you create within the app:

• Work log entries (dates, hours, descriptions)
• Payment records (amounts, statuses, notes)
• Case files and entity information (names, contact details you enter)
• Documents and attachments (photos, PDFs you import)
• Deadlines and reminders
• Timeline entries and notes
• App preferences and settings

3. WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

All data is stored locally on your device only. Specifically:

• The Earnt database is stored in your device's Application Support directory
• Imported documents and attachments are stored in Application Support
• These locations are excluded from automatic iCloud backup by default
• App preferences are stored in UserDefaults and may be included in standard iCloud device backups

Earnt does not operate any servers. There is no Earnt cloud, no Earnt account, and no Earnt backend. Your data cannot leave your device without your explicit action.

4. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

Earnt does not collect, transmit, or process:

• Analytics or usage telemetry
• Crash reports (unless you explicitly submit one via Apple's system)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Any personal information
• Any content you enter into the app

5. NETWORK ACTIVITY

Earnt makes network requests only in the following cases:

• App Store purchases: StoreKit 2 communicates with Apple's servers to process and verify purchases. This is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• No other network requests are made by Earnt.

6. FACE ID / TOUCH ID

If you enable biometric lock in Settings, Earnt uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Earnt receives only an authorised/not authorised response. No biometric data is stored by Earnt. All biometric data is managed exclusively by iOS on your device.

7. EXPORTED DATA

When you export a report or dossier, the resulting PDF is shared via the iOS Share Sheet. What you do with that file — where you send it, who you share it with — is your decision. Earnt has no visibility into what happens to exported files after they leave the Share Sheet.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Earnt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we update this policy, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Significant changes will be noted in the app update release notes.
